So I have 3 unique outputs, all with the same mix, but different Eq/Crossover.and they all have their own volume fader, so I can balance my system very easily (if the subs are not loud enough, etc. I send another Matrix output to some side fills (and again, have a seperate Eq and Crossover). I send another Matrix output to my Tops (with a crossover applied, and some Eq). I send one Matrix output (again, which is my main mix) to my Subwoofers (and I apply a crossover). And adjust the volume of each of the outputs individually.įor my use, I send my Main mix to all of the Matrix Outputs, but I really only use 3 of them. If you send your main mix to all of the Matrix Busses, it would be like if your Axe FX had 6 individual outputs, and for each of those outputs, you could apply a seperate Eq or Crossover, etc. Matrix outputs are my favorite thing in the X32 (that I never though I would need).

(they don't really move, just trying to give a visual of what the affect is).

It's like taking your hand and moving all of those faders up and down at the same time. The VCA group now controls the volume for just those channels/faders (relative to how those faders are already set). The company expects to issue regular revisions, each with a unique set of features driven in large part by user feedback. My layman's explanation (because I am a layman) - VCA groups: assign a bunch of channels to a VCA group. XControl is part of the X32 ecosystem that Behringer has launched as an evolving platform. The X32 PRODUCER is a robust-yet-streamlined mixer that features all of the core functionality and processing of BEHRINGER's flagship X32 console in a smaller form factor. When combined with Behringer’s XiControl app for the iPad, the system delivers full remote mix functionality along with a lightning-fast tactile control surface. In addition, multiple instances of the application can be actively controlling the same mixer at the same time, allowing for sophisticated remote mixing, monitor mix and broadcast applications. XControl software allows a user to connect to and control one X32 at a time by selecting from any number of connected consoles on one network. Operators can control mix and assign functions, set and adjust effects and even meter individual inputs and outputs in real time.Ĭonnecting the X32 to the computer is as simple as adding a network device just set the IP address and it’s done. The application replicates the X32 control surface with all faders, display screens and major controls right on the desktop. XControl also adds several important new features to the list found on the console. The new XControl application, available as a free download, provides near-complete control over the Behringer X32 digital mixer from a wired or wireless computer.
